Privacy Policy

• Contact information, including names, email addresses, and phone numbers.
• Pickup and delivery details, item descriptions, access instructions, photos, and order references.
• Driver application, vehicle, identity, insurance, registration, availability, and location information.
• Transaction, authorization, refund, cancellation, tip, and payout records. Payment-card information is entered into and processed by our payment provider rather than stored directly by SAM.
• Device, browser, security, support, and service-use information needed to operate and protect the platform.

• Provide estimates, match requests with appropriate drivers, coordinate pickup and delivery, and show tracking updates.
• Communicate about requests, payments, driver arrival, delivery, account security, and customer support.
• Review driver eligibility and compliance, prevent fraud, investigate incidents, and enforce platform rules.
• Maintain records, improve service quality, comply with legal obligations, and protect customers, drivers, SAM, and the public.

When you sign in with ChatGPT, SAM receives an account identifier, email address and, when supplied, your name. If you choose to save a support conversation to your SAM account, we record that association. A signed-in account does not automatically establish ownership of delivery or driver records with similar contact details.

If you request account deletion, we keep a request reference, account association, submission time and review history so you can check its status and SAM can verify the affected records. An owner review can record a follow-up reason and review date. That date is not a deletion deadline. Submitting a request does not itself erase information, close an account, cancel a delivery or change a payment.

SAM stores delivery messages and their author role, time, read status and conversation block settings. Sender–driver and recipient–driver conversations have separate access. Participants with current private access can read their conversation; the sender does not automatically receive the recipient's conversation.

Private delivery links provide access to the information and controls allowed for that participant. Share them only with the intended person. Blocking messages stops new messages in that conversation; it does not erase saved messages or block the person across future deliveries. Closing a page or unlinking a saved conversation also does not erase its records. Support and authorized service reviews may require access to related records.

If you report a message, SAM stores the selected message reference, your participant role, report reason, optional note and time. Authorized SAM reviewers can view that message and record private review notes and status. Your report and review notes are not sent to the other participant. You can check a limited report status while your private conversation access remains valid.

Reporting does not itself remove a message or block a participant. Conversation blocking remains a separate control. If your private link has expired, contact SAM for help verifying access. This report form is not an emergency service.

When a driver shares location, SAM receives coordinates, accuracy and capture time. We use recent location for matching, route estimates, private delivery progress and the owner's Dispatch coverage map. A sender can see the assigned delivery's current location when available; a recipient's view is limited to the permitted delivery stage and destination.

Live trip sharing in the current web app requires the driver page to remain visible and awake. Drivers can use Stop sharing on that page and control location permission in their browser or phone settings. A marker can remain briefly until its current update expires. Stopping new updates is not a request to erase earlier service, support or safety records.

Nearby vehicle discovery is a separate optional choice in the Driver Hub. If a driver selects Include my vehicle type, eligible fresh location updates can contribute to counts by vehicle type in broad map areas. The preview does not show that unassigned driver's name or exact point. Counts may be small, so this is not a guarantee of anonymity. A count is not a promise that a driver will accept a delivery.

Area sharing lasts up to four hours and ends when the driver goes offline or selects Stop area sharing. A previously returned count may remain for up to 30 seconds. Live public counts remain closed while SAM is in testing. The owner's operational coverage view and private assigned-delivery tracking are separate from this optional public preview.

If you enable browser notifications in a private delivery conversation, we store your browser's push subscription endpoint and a record of that choice for the conversation. Your browser's push provider processes the request to deliver the alert. The alert contains generic text only, without message contents, personal phone numbers, addresses or private delivery links.

You can turn off that conversation's alerts from its Message alerts controls, or turn off all SAM notifications in your browser settings. Opt-ins expire within 24 hours and require current private delivery access. Historical consent and attempt records may remain for support and service reliability. The Delivery messages page does not save links pasted into it.

When you separately and affirmatively choose to receive text messages, we use your mobile number and consent record to send the transactional messages described at the point of opt-in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide limited information to communications providers that deliver messages for us, solely to operate the messaging service and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

When traffic estimates are available, SAM sends the pickup and dropoff coordinates, or a driver's recent shared location and the next stop, to Google Maps to calculate travel time and help match drivers. Google traffic measurements are used for the current estimate and are not saved in SAM's delivery, payment, or backup records. Loading, unloading, and changes after the calculation can affect arrival time.

When Google address suggestions are available, address search text is sent to Google Maps. Selected addresses and optional unit details may be sent to Google Address Validation when you confirm a booking. For new deliveries, we save your selected street address, unit details and place identifier. We obtain routing coordinates separately from the U.S. Census geocoder. Google address suggestions and validation details stay in the booking session; we do not save Google-provided coordinates with new deliveries. Google's Privacy Policy and Maps Terms apply to those services. Manual entry remains available.

SAM sends selected address text to the U.S. Census geocoder to obtain coordinates. Where SAM uses the public OSRM routing service, route or journey-check coordinates are sent to that service to calculate road routes and travel estimates. These services receive the inputs needed for those requests; they are separate from the information shown to other SAM participants.

We may disclose information to the customer, assigned driver, pickup contact, service providers, payment processors, communications providers, professional advisers, insurers, or authorities when reasonably necessary to provide the service, complete a transaction, respond to an incident, follow the law, or protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information for money.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business and transaction records, address disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Authorized recovery packages and delivery-evidence downloads can contain personal information and original uploaded files. Copies and historical review records may continue to exist after a private link expires or a feature is turned off. Privacy-request review must consider shared records, transaction or safety obligations, provider-held data and applicable copies; an expired link or hidden map marker is not confirmation of deletion.

Request account deletion and check its status. You can submit a signed-in request or find verification guidance if you cannot sign in.

You may decline optional SMS consent and still request service. You may opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. You may request access, correction, or deletion of applicable personal information by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required for transactions, safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

SAM is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18.
